Our dentists and team use digital X-rays to capture high-quality images of your teeth. Unlike traditional X-rays, these involve less radiation, making them safe for your health and the environment. They also process images of your teeth faster and more comfortably thanks to their digital sensor, instead of using film and unwanted chemicals.

After we take your digital X-rays, they will automatically upload to our computer for us to provide you with an accurate diagnosis and advise your treatment options. With digital radiography, we are able to easily detect:

• Cavities, infections, tumors, cysts and abscesses
• Breakage in a filling
• Tooth decay found between your teeth
• An infection in the nerves
• Bone loss
• Developmental issues
• The current position of your tooth roots

Having these digital radiographs available in our office, helps us plan out your treatment more efficiently to ensure you receive the care you need. You may see us use digital X-Rays when you are coming in for your six-month cleaning, a root canal, dental implant or orthodontic treatment.
